Instead of the Market Value you’ll be used to when buying a property, valuations for tax purposes are based on a legally defined version of Market Value, which has been affected by numerous court cases over the years. It is essential that the valuation you submit to HMRC is based on this legally defined version of Market Value.

All of our valuations are produced in accordance with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Global Standards, known as the Red Book.
